"Ma-ree-ay". I dont know why but maybe it's due to the fact she is mixed Irish,Japanese and I also heard, American. She was once known to be the singer of her own version of Rihanna's "Umbrella". I don't know how it made it to the radiowaves. But here's the good part, she stepped it up in YouTube, recording videos of her singing rather famous songs. Blessed with such brilliant voice and awesomely talented hands on the guitar and piano, she made extraordinary songs seem sometimes ordinary.And you know what, she learns piano scores and guitar tabs just by just listening them.
