The Complicated Secret

It was typical typical jay, again.....and this time I almost had no clue what this story was about. Why did I say typical, based on his music videos, there are plenty of similarities. But this movie needs more than concentration to watch, it needs a lot of imganination and thinking. Fine.....I admit it , I didnt have a clue for the 2nd half of the show. Lousy me!
And I had to resort to looking at reviews and even Mel's Blog , at least others understood the story a lot more than I did. thumbs up for them! even the biggest jay fan has to concede this one.

Typical jay #1 - Only a person can see that particular person.
If you've seen "Ni Ting De Dao"'s mv, I think there's some similarities there.

Typical jay #2 - The rewinding scenes
Plenty, ranging from "Ye De Di Qi Zhang", "Ge Qian"especially, "Shi Mian Chu Ge", and many more.

Typical jay #3- The piano playing
How on earth would jay leave out one of his best talents? He wouldn't. Piano playing scenes are abundant. Those are unbelievable skils btw.

Personal take - Great romantic movie, complicated storyline to figure out and lots o f piano playing.
Rating 8/10 - Above expectations.

The Next Top Model Craze

Thanks to Tyra Banks, the "Next Top Model" brand has gone to over 20 countries! Of course it all orginated from "America's Next Top Model". Today namely Canada, Germany(hosted py project runway's heidi klum), Australia, Britain, Netherlands and Hungary has took on the brand. So Tyra, there's a lot of inflows to your bank account. But in terms of English, there's only 4 watchable ones, I guess it's quite clear which four.The influence has definitely impacted me ......again.

This time it's Britain. I was quite interested in the beginning as I was "departing" from america.... america.... america... With no language barriers of course, I thought it would be quite good.
Hosted by Lisa Snowdon, who works as a presenter, actor and previously a model, she's not new to this world, having previously dated George Clooney(oceans 11..13).
And then Jonathan Phang, the industry expert, who has worked with Naomi and Tyra. And then supermodel Paula Hamilton, who is not afraid to screw anyone! She's very harsh.
The show is at the half way line at the moment and I would say it's kinda good. At the beginning, keeping concentration was key because of the "ACCENT", my goodness it was hard to understand. Just like anything, i adapted.
Here's two of my favourite contestants.
Firstly, Lauren Mcavoy. I just wouldnt believe one of my friends telling I favour blondes, but it's true. She's more towards to commercial type though. Hot beauty!

And the second, Holly. She drove me nuts with her ACCENT, my head was spinning everytime she spoke.But instead of hating her accent, I took a u-turn and actually loved it....lol!!!!
Her accent couples with stunning eyes.

COMMONWEALTH OF CLOUD NINE BLOGSTITUTION ACT

An Act to blogstitute the Commonwealth of Cloud Nine
[6th August 2007]

Whereas the members of Cloud Nine, altogether seven not counting the joint regents, Their Royal Highnesses (TRH's), namely Ana the Fair and Yen Shian the Gentle, humbly relying on the blessing of Almighty God, have agree, and under the Crown of Their Royal Highnesses (TRH's), namely Ana the Fair and Yen Shian the Gentle adn under the Blogstitution hereby established:

And whereas it is expedient to not provide for the admission into the
Commonwealth of other members and possessions of TRH's:

Be it therefore enacted by the Queens' most Excellent Majesty,
by and with the advice and consent of the Lords Spiritual and Temporal,
and Commons, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the
authority of the same, as follows:-

1. This Act may be cited as the Commonwealth of Cloud Nine
Blogstitution Act.

2. The provisions of this Act referring to the Queen shall extend
to Her Majesty's heirs and successors in the sovereignty of the L3, class of legals studies, SAM, 2007.

3. It shall be lawful for the Queens, with the advice of the House of Lords, to declare by proclamation that, on and after a day therein
appointed, not being later that one year after the passing of this Act,
the members consisting of Tang Hsiao Yinn, Thomas Wong Hsien Yao, Loh Xae Hoyy, Lim Deyao, David Tee Ting Shuen, James Tan Yik Hong and also Sylvia Sze shall be
united in a Federal Commonwealth under the name of the Commonwealth of
Cloud Nine. But the Queens may, at any time after the proclamation,
appoint a Governor-General for the Commonwealth.

4. The Commonwealth shall be established, and the Blogstitution of the
Commonwealth shall take effect, on and after the day so appointed. But
the Parliaments may at any time after the passing of this Act make any such
laws, to come into operation on the day so appointed, as they might have made
of the Blogstitution had taken effect at the passing of this Act.

5. This Act, and all laws made by the Parliament of the Commonwealth
under the Blogstitution, shall be binding on the courts, judges, and all
the members and of every part of the Commonwealth; and the laws of the Commonwealth
shall be in force on all, even for TRH's.

6. "The Commonwealth" shall mean the Commonwealth of Cloud Nine as
established under this Act.
"The Members" shall mean such of the members, Tang Hsiao Yinn, Thomas Wong Hsien Yao, Loh Xae Hoyy, Lim Deyao, David Tee Ting Shuen, James Tan Yik Hong and also Sylvia Sze, as for the time being are parts of the Commonwealth, and such members
as may be admitted into or established by the Commonwealth
as Masters of this realm of blogstitution.

7. The Blogstitution of the Commonwealth shall be as follows:-

Chapter I The Parliament

1. The legislative power of the Commonwealth shall be vested in a
Federal Parliament, which shall consist of the Queens, the Senate, and a House of Representatives, and which is herein-after called "The Parliament," or "The Parliament of the Commonwealth."

2. Her Majesties shall have the power to reign but not to govern. And may exercise their powers according to the provisions provided by the Parliament and also the Courts.

3. There shall be payable to the Queen out of the Consolidated
Revenue fund of the Commonwealth, for the salary of THR's, an annual sum which, until the Parliament otherwise provides, shall be 2 bars of Mars Bars.

4. The Queens may appoint such times for holding the
sessions of the Parliament as they think fit, and may also from time to
time, by Proclamation or otherwise, prorogue the Parliament, and may in
like manner dissolve the House of Representative.
After any general election the Parliament shall be summoned to meet
not later than thirty days after the day appointed for the return of the
writs.
The Parliament shall be summoned to meet not later than 1 day
after the establishment of the Commonwealth.

6. There shall be a session of the Parliament three times at least in every week, so that twelve months shall not intervene between the last sitting of the Parliament in one session and its first sitting in the
nextsession.

7. The Senate shall be composed of a senator, who shall be one elected from among the 7 members and also proclaimed by TRH's with the title of "Baron" or "Baroness"

8. The House of Representative shall compose of a Representative with the title "Sir" or "Lady" as proclaimed by TRH's.



Chapter II The Judicature

9. The judicial power of the Commonwealth shall be vested in a Federal
Supreme Court, to be called the High Court of Cloud Nine, and in such other
federal courts as the Parliament creates, and in such other courts as it
invests with federal jurisdiction. The High Court shall consist of a Chief
Justice.

10. The Justice of the High Court:-

(i.) Shall be appointed by the Queens:
(ii.) Shall not be removed except by the Queens, on an
address from both Houses of the Parliament in the same session, praying
for such removal on the ground of proved misbehaviour or incapacity:
(iii.) Shall receive such remuneration as the Parliament may fix; but the
remuneration shall not be diminished during their continuance in
office.

11. It is to the court's pleasure that any matter arises with this Blogstitution that the court may interpret it in any way it see fit.


Chapter III The Affairs of the Blogstitution

12. Any post in this blog shall not be subjected to any changes once posted but can only be subjected to changes with objection from 3 or more members if deemed unreasonable.

13. It is to be compulsory for all members to post in an entry once every 2 weeks, one each and all post shall be subjected to proclaimation of the Queens. The Queens shall also abide by this rule and to be at each other's pleasure.

14. The Blogstitution shall not be subjected to any moderation unless:-

Any of the members see it to be unfit and raise this upon a Council called the Fellowship of Cloud Nine which shall consist of the Queens as sitting Chairperson, the members of the blogstitution.

"Reviewing" the week

On the last day of july.. Oh it was supposed to be carnival day. we DID spend money but still decided to keep our money for The Simpsons.

The Homer Family!



5 of cloud nine members, me, shian, ana, nep and deyao and also our onion, mun mun =p took taxi with us to pyramid. oh it was noon so a few of them bought kebab to makan. a few of us were broke so couldnt afford anything -.-

And see how they transformed!

Mun Yee : Peace sign Ana : Busy chewing? Nep : He can stuff more food than dat trust me :D

Mun Yee : No idea what she was doin. Ana : Smilling as always. Nep : 'Fries..good..good for health. I cant get fatter adiii'. Everyone there was like o.o

Mun Yee : Fries girl? Onion girl? Ana : hehehe. Nep : Dugong

The sign says " Ring the bell if ur satisfied with us." So there they are. Rung! lol

We went for the movie and that day was da most adventurous day ever. nearly kena banged by vehicles. Ana was the worst. We had to walk along the roundabout to reach taylors. Anyway deyao lets take taxi next time. We are too young to dieee (: ahahahaha.

Remember Him Your Father..

Well.. to mark the 50th entry we have on our blog.. I would like to post this special post in memory of one person who has played a great part in our lives..

Read on this touching story and be entralled with the effect which it will have on us..




A girl went to a party
and she ended upstaying longer than planned..
After the party,
she had to walk home..
She wasn't afraid..
because it was a small town and
she lived only a few blocks away..


As she walked along under the tall elm trees,
Susan asked God
"Please keep me safe, God..
from harm and danger.."


When she reached the alley..
which was a short cut to her house..
she decided to take it..


However..
halfway down the alley
she noticed a man standing at the
end as though he were waiting for her.


She became uneasy and began to
pray, asking for God's protection..


Instantly a comforting feeling
of quietness and security wrapped
round her, she felt as though someone
was walking with her..


When she reached the end of the
alley, she walked right past the man
and arrived home safely..

The following day..
she read in the newspaper..
A young girl had been raped..
In the same alley..
Just twenty minutes after she had been there..


Feeling overwhelmed by this tragedy..
and the fact..
that it could have been her..
she began to weep.


Thanking the Lord for her safety..
and to help this young woman..
she decided to go to the police station..


She felt she could recognize the man..
so she told them her story..
The police asked her..
if she would be willing to look at a lineup..
to see if she could identify him..


She agreed and..
immediately pointed out the man she had seen..
in the alley the night before..
When the man was told he had been identified..
he immediately..
broke down..
and confessed..


The officer thanked Diane..
for her bravery and asked..
if there was anything they could do for her..
She asked if she could ask the man one question.
Only ONE question..


Diane was curious..
as to why..
Why he had not attacked her.


When the policeman asked him,
he answered..

"Because she wasn't alone.
She had two tall men walking..
on either side of her."







Amazingly, whether you believe or not,you're never alone. Did you know that 98% of teenagers will not stand up for God?


God is always there in your heart and loves you no matter what

The Ice Scratchers

Mind the title,I don't have much ideas.As a developing post-er(not using the word blogger coz I'm not),I'm trying to match the developed bloggers, but I'm so far just catching shadows.So to the topic,on Friday (27/4) was the 1st time for three people on the skating ring in pyramid.With constant fear of gravity doing it's job(Doh,2007), me,nep and keh huat took the challenge.With a broke status,poor me had to take a loan,lol.Anyway,thanks to hsiao yinn for the loan and terrence for driving us using his accord... and teaching some "not to be learned skills when driving".
So at the expense of the "coveted" free ticket,skating was the choice and the opportunity cost was the movie(and yes, i did the econs thing delibrately).


So here are some pics from the day,
Firstly, the three chicks, yen shian,mun yee and hsiao yinn


Then, came Terrence, who falls in love with Mary(i'm sorry),it's actually nep, who provides some warmth



Then, amazingly Nep's loving arms shrunk Terrence by at least 1 foot
Terrence: "Ngo mo min geen yan"(He's embarrased)

Ouch, deyao adds some fuel to the fire, I tot all of us was gonna do it.
He was gonna strangle me if I talked to him in that position.


But despite the magic shrinking of Terrence, it was all smiles at the end.


Then,a group photo of the skaters-to-be,looking quite serious here.haha.


But it became slightly less serious,except me, who became "lost"


Rounding it all up,hsiao yinn and mun yee(is she abt the burst into laughter?), probably not..


So at the end, me and nep did fine, but nep fell quite a few more than me. But Keh Huat struggled a little with Dinesh playing a small part as he traumtised him how bad his(dinesh) skating was.
Here is abt all the pics I have, probably some which I havent received, but will add it once I get them. Surprisingly, deyao's post has no models,no football and no tv shows.As Nep says"First Time".

Once again, my accounts test ends in under-achievement and not even once i can do well...oh well,no point thinking abt it. Maths h/work, here I come...
