The Kahlen Revival

Title: The Kahlen Revival

When was the last time you heard that name? It was probably during cycle 4 of ANTM where this sweet and hilarious girl almost got the title"America's Next Top Model". This girl was so funny and lovable thoughout the show and I doubt anyone would dislike her. Screw myself for knowing the winner before I watched the show, and what was worse I supported her till the final 2 and knowing she didnt win. She didnt pursue modelling after that and was a waitress in NYC.
So I was browsing as usual everyday, look the myspace's of some famous people. And then suddenly, I saw this!

Wow!I was like freaking shocked! For sure it was her as it was on her myspace. She is like one of my favourites since I started watching this show. I was actually so happy to see an updated picture of her. Then, looking and looking...."Manuel Override Cosmetics".No doubt this world has only one "Manuel" in make-up brilliance, Jay Manuel himself. He is without a shadow of a doubt one of the best make-up artists in the world,Tyra calls him "Legendary". For additional info,he's the director of shoots in ANTM, host of CNTM(canada), host of "Style Her Famous" and appears frequently on E!. There are probably a lot more that I can't keep track with.
Next,a double check whether it was a fraud! So I went HERE , after a few clicks Kits\Face Kit..
Ta Da! The same picture appeared.So it was final, Kahlen has made a slight revival and hopefully more to come.

Striking the balance

The title is "Striking the Balance",apparently this skin on the blog does not show titles...dunno how come.This blog is dying by the day and at least 1 person is actually coming to update it, me...

Been a the least busy week compared to the last few weeks where legals draft and econs CT4 was one week after the other,next week more tests is on its way(math and txt production).
Day by the day, as I told Nep, I'm running out of life in me.I'm actually feeling kind of dry,dull and lifeless. Study,sleep,classes,homework,"some onlining".Thats all i do....And it has been going on and on.Feeling so lifeless,almost like a nerd which theoratically has no life.Lacking the enthusiasm and drive by the day. I need some life !!

So abt striking the balance, in footie terms of course. Based on my views, I think it's gonna very interesting indeed in the EPL race. Definitely, hands down Man Utd pas pulled off the biggest coup of the summer,but for a price. Nani,Anderson,Hargreaves and probably Tevez are very strong propositions.But think of it,Carrick and Hargreaves for England,not good enough. No match for Paul Scholes.And then Chelsea, paying 14mil for 5 players. Sidwell,Ben Haim,Pizarro,Philliskirk and Malouda.Based on valuation, most cost effective + their squad needs no strenghtening.
And then Liverpool, the team with Spannish connections. Rafa has also pulled off a great coup.Torres,Voronin,Benayoun and Babel.That is pure genious, and kinda think of it, probably Rafa's trasfers outwit Fergie's if the Tevez does not come in.
This season the EPL teams has splashed more cash then ever and bringing some interesting talents mainly due to increase in tv revenue.But as I said striking the balance.Integrating the players together has been tough over the years, even the best players find it hard in the EPL.
So, I guess Fergie is the one doing the most thinking this season, and I found a very good reason.Speaking of high profile signings.
Champions - 2003 (signed ONLY Ferdinand)
2007 (signed ONLY Carrick)
but this year also another englishman(owen) but there a host of names contributing to the potential 80mil outflow of transfer fees.

As for Arsenal, I think I'll talk abt it after 31/8.
Prison Break is back on 17/9 and I got to know the winner of CNTM, haha..

Thierry tribute

The Titi tribute continues...I didnt want to do this so soon. But as thierry left, there's no better time. Time to put my knowledge and memory to good use. (Note:Only arsenal fans would understand the moments).So here's a brief timeline and famous events.Before thierry signed in 1999, he already did this.

The golden years for Henry. The spectacular run from more than half the pitch length to score past "everyone"against spurs.Not to forget, it was goal of the season.
Then, the breathtaking and weaving run through "entire" liverpool defence to put arsenal in pole for the title.Next, the outstanding 4-goal effort to destroy leeds 5-0.Pires scored first.

Thierry threads through the Real defence starting with Ronaldo and scores to give arsenal a boasting name to be the 1st english team to win at the Bernabeau. Then, the outer boot curler against sparta in the group stage.

The lows...
The only two things that has eluded Thierry's career. Thierry losing out to Ronny in the FIFA World Player of the Year and again at the UCL Final.I know it's agonizing Thierry, we feel it too.
I hate to say this, but why must it be associated with Barca?

I think I will leave it until here for the moment.
